Since ancient times the kiss has been the privileged form of expression of love. Its origins date back to primitive times, and its first manifestations of maternal care came to the offspring. It was only the sixth century that the company finally agreed to the kiss between adults as an expression affection. France took the initiative and introduced the custom of kissing in courtship and in the ballroom, to the point of sealing with a kiss all accepted to dance in the arms of the man wanted. The kiss went on his journey across Europe to stop in Russia, where it was incorporated, formally, to the wedding ceremony. However, as is currently the kiss was also a demonstration of respect. For example, in the Rome of the Caesars, kissing on the mouth or on the eyelids was a solemn way of recognizing the dignity of others. The Roman emperors judged the importance of a person depending on where they chose to kiss him. A more important kissed her lips then his hands, and finally ... his feet. Data

Did you know that the first movie kiss was between John C. Rise and May Irwin in the film called The Kiss, back in 1896? And did you know the longest kiss shot in movie history was between Jane Wail and Regis Tommey in the film You are in the Army now (1941), and lasted 3 minutes 5 seconds?
